prominent politician, businessman and
promoter Atiku Abubakar. We want to

On November 17, 2014, Atiku submitted his
presidential nomination form to the National
Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC),
Chief John Oyegun, at the party's headquarters in
Abuja.

2. Atiku sees the Nigerian youths as one of his
main aims and points
He emphasised that the youths is a Nigerian
majority. Nigeria's median age is 18.2 – a very
young population. So Atiku thinks that the main
way to reduce the crisis is to provide them with
appropriate jobs. He also reminded some time ago
that he had created not less than 50,000 jobs in
Nigeria and other African countries.

3. Family issues

His son got married on the 30th of August. Atiku, as
a happy father, shared this news on his Facebook
page:
"My son, Shehu, got married today. I had my proud
father smile all day."
He has also become a grandfather once again in
March. In social media he shared a picture of
his grand-daughter, Raheema.
" Welcoming another grand-
daughter, Raheema," he tweeted.

4. Education should be a priority

Atiku is convinced that our policy should be more
oriented on education. In addition to poor welfare,
teachers in the northeast of Nigeria face insecurity
24/7, the challenge which is not very familiar to
their colleagues in other parts of the country. There
is also an issue of competence of the Nigerian
teachers. Nigeria's illiteracy rate has continued to
rise, reaching approximately 56 million illiterate
adults.
So the politician states that the government should
deal with these troubles. He tried to help hospitals
and educational center as far as he can.

5. He received chieftaincy title
