TV host, Sika Osei joing 53 Extra on AfricaMagic

Good things
they say come
to those who
wait and work
hard. Ghanaian
TV presenter
and actress
cum solicitor,
Sika Osei was
over the week
announced as
one of the new
Co-
Presenter to be added to the 53 Extra team, one of
the most watched lifestyle shows in Africa on the
DSTV platform. The presenter who until recently
hosted The Phamous TV Shows which airs on Vaisat
one and has been nominated for this years RTP
Awards for Best Entertainment Show, is the
second Ghanaian to hold this fort in the Dstv range
of content aside Anita Erskine who was the
correspondent in ghana for studio 53.
Speaking to her in Lagos Nigeria, where she co
hosted the red carpet for the M-Net Africa Magic
Viewers Choice Awards Nominee Announcements ,
Sika is humbled and excited about this new step in
her career. She sees living in a new country and
presenting on a successful show as a blessing but
also a challenge, but nonetheless a great
opportunity to put Ghana on the DSTV map.
She acknowledges her family, friends and
management team Joyce Gyebi and BBnZ Live for
the continuous support and direction. She also says
that though she is open to opportunities in Nigeria,
Doing more in Ghana and giving back to her
country is her main priority. She therefore urges
Ghanaian event companies to call on her whenever.
With a feature in a currently released short film
"blurred lines" which is currently on YouTube and
has been entered into a competition, Sika is
excited about her future and what lies ahead. She
thanks all Ghanaians for their amazing support so
far and is confident that as she holds the flag of
Ghana high and strives to be a positive role model
for Ghanaians and Africans in general, that the
country will continue to support her.
Sika Osei is definitely a huge talent to look out for
in 2014
