Magodo Lagos Police DPO Oladipo Afolayan Arrested For Raping Female Suspect In His Office

Another Divisional Police Officer has been arrested in
Lagos over rape.
Mr Oladipo Afolayan was recently picked up at
Magodo Police station for allegedly raping
a woman in his office.
The suspect had only been recently posted to
Magodo police station when the alleged sexual
assault occurred.
The female victim, a suspect of an ongoing
investigation reported the suspect to the Assistant
Inspector General of Police, Zone 2 Command, Umar
Manko.
The matter was latter transferred to the X Squad, a
department at the state command which is in charge
of investigating police crimes and misdemeanours.
The case has been subsequently transferred to the
State Criminal Investigation Department for further
investigation.
