Scores Of Boko Haram Members Killed In Failed Konduga Attack

The soldiers and youth vigilante
killed scores of Boko Haram
insurgents in Konduga, Borno State,
as the militants attempted to
advance on Maiduguri.
It was reported earlier today that
Boko Haram launched attack in
Konduga and were battling with the
Nigerian military.
According to a security source, the 7
Division of the Nigerian Army halted
the advancement and prevented the
insurgents from approaching the
state capital.
The source from the vigilante
disclosed:
"Nobody can tell you the exact
number of the insurgents killed but
we have killed many of them, while
others escaped with bullets wounds.
Scores of the insurgents met their
waterloo when they attempted to
attack Konduga town on Monday."
