The travel restrictions placed on Mallam Sanusi
Lamido Sanusi, the Emir of Kano has been lifted.
On Saturday, President Jonathan orders the release of
his seized Passports several days after the two
reconciled in Abuja.
Few months ago, the State Security Services
operatives seized Sanusi's diplomatic passport at
Ikeja Lagos International Airport on his return from a
conference in Niger Republic.
As he attempted to travel out of Nigeria to France,
SSS came after him again and seized his standard e-
passport.
Following the order from the grand commander in
Abuja, Sanusi's passports are now back in his hands
SSS returned his passports to him on Saturday at his
palace in Kano.
