On Thursday State Government of Ekiti State
ordered to impeach Adewale Omirin, Deputy
Speaker of the State House of
Assembly,Vanguard informs.
Dr. Modupe Alade who is the Secretary to the State
Government issued the statement
with congratulations for new Speaker of the Ekiti
State House of Assembly, Mr. Dele Olugbemi and
the Deputy Speaker, Mrs Abeni Olayinka.
The statement calls for a smooth working
relationship between the new leadership of the
House and the Fayose administration in order to
move the state forward.
Other lawmakers who had gone on self exile were
urged by Mr. Alade to return and perform duties
they were elected for.
"You should not stay in exile if you were truly
elected by the people of Ekiti."
The statement charged the police to provide
security befitting the office of the Speaker and the
deputy. Besides, issues warned trouble makers to
stay away from Ekiti.
Ekiti people were advised to go about their normal
duties and continue to give their support to the
administration.
