Police Attack: Senator Magnus Abe Off To London For Treatment

Nigerian senator Magnus Abe who suffered serious
internal bleeding when Rivers State Police officials
shot him today is currently on his way to the United
Kingdom for emergency medical treatment.
As earlier reportedly, the Senator was shot by some
trigger-happy police officers during a pro-Amaechi
rally in Rivers State today, Sunday the 12th of
January, 2014.
The attack knocked him to the ground and since
then, he hasn't uttered a word.
Doctors who attended to him at a private hospital
today said his injury is very severe.
He has been airlifted to London for emergency
medical treatment.

As their usual tradition, Rivers State police officials
have denied the attack.
