Newly Married Couple Escape Death Enroute Wedding Reception In Lagos

A newly married couple is happy to be alive today
after escaping what could have been the worst
wedding disaster of the year.
The couple got involved in a serious accident on
their way to their wedding reception on Saturday
the 7th of December 2013.
They narrowly escaped death in a motor accident
involving a tanker, a cargo truck and 2 other cars.
The disaster happened around 4:45pm very close to
Otedola bridge in Alausa on Lagos/Ibadan
expressway.
Sources at the scene of the accident said the NNPC
truck lost its break while descending a slope and
rammed into the 1st car, crushing the 2nd car
against the cargo truck.
The couple reportedly jumped out of their car in
order to escape death.
The accident caused a serious traffic pileup on Lagos-
Ibadan Expressway on Saturday.
What a narrow escape! They should count
themselves lucky to be alive.
