Ahead of
upcoming
gubernatorial elections, the Osun chapter of
the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) have
gotten three aspirants contesting for the
party's nomination.
This was revealed in a statement on Wednesday by
the Chairman, Alhaji Gani OlaOluwa.
The three aspirants who fulfilled the conditions set
by the party for those aspiring for nomination are
Hon Oluwole Oke who hails from Obokun Local
Government Area, Sen. Olasunkanmi Akinlabi from
Ayedaade Local Government Area and Sen. Iyiola
Omisore hails from Ife East Local Government Area.
According to the chairman, they all would be given
a "level playground" by the party.
Oke was a former member House of
Representatives member, while Akinlabi was a
former Senator and one time Minister and Omisore
was a former Deputy Governor and former Senator.
