Severed Ear Found Two Hours After Street Fight

The British
police has said they have identified the owner of a
ear that was cut off and later found in the street
about two hours after a reported brawl in
Sunderland.
Investigators said the ear fragment was
found by a passerby about 7 a.m. Sunday in
the same section of Sunderland, England,
road where a fight was reported about 5:15
a.m.
"The injured man aged 26 has been located
and he has received treatment at
Sunderland Royal Hospital and has been
released," a police spokesman said.
The incident is under investigation.
